Minister opens parks beautification work
LAHORE:Beautification work in parks of Allama Iqbal Town has started. Minister Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed Sunday inaugurated the development work in the parks of Huma, Zeenat and Nargis blocks. PTI leaders Waqas Amjad and Zeeshan Siddiqui were alongwith the minister. The minister initiated the development work by planting saplings in the parks of these blocks. On the occasion, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed said Rs40 million will be spent on beautification of the parks.
“This initiative will glorify parks. A county having parks and recreational places has empty hospitals. For maintaining our health, we must do exercise and play game. We are working hard to provide public with best refreshment facilities. Advanced amusement services in the parks of Allama Iqbal Town will be ensured. After battling the pandemic for so long, we must relieve stress from ourselves. Providing public with best services of health and cleanliness is pivot of PTI’s agenda and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision. This journey of solidifying the vision is going smoothly,” the minister said.
