Online shopping

June 21, 2021

Owing to the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus outbreak, many people resorted to online shopping. A few days ago, my son ordered a pair of shoes worth Rs3,000 from a Karachi-based company and received a pair of slippers. My daughter also faced the same experience last month when she received the wrong size of the clothing item she had ordered. There is no doubt that there are many people who have faced similar problems. Buyers are responsible for returning the unwanted items and end up bearing the shipping cost. Despite numerous attempts, these fraudulent companies have also not responded to the complaints. Their mobile phones also remain switched off.

There is a dire need to monitor the operations of those companies that are duping people and are getting away with their crimes.
