Over 5.8m vaccinated

LAHORE:Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) has said pace of vaccination is recording a steady increase as Punjab vaccinated 220,980 people in the last 24 hours.
According to a handout issued here on Sunday, P&SHD spokesperson said so far more than 5.8 million people have been vaccinated in the province and overall 4,092,813 people received dose and 963,153 got second dose.
The spokesperson said, "So far 477,630 healthcare workers have been administered first dose and 266,580 have been inoculated for second dose. At district level, taskforces are expediting the vaccination process. Deadlines and targets have been given to all districts. In order to control the Pandemic, we will have to vaccinate more and more people".
