A small, and illegal, cattle market has been set up in an empty plot in the Block 17, Federal B Area neighbourhood in Karachi. This practice has been going on since the last few years. Although residents highlighted the issue and talked with the local authorities, there has been no development in this regard. The Covid-19 pandemic hasn’t ended, and such illegal practices allow young people to gather in large crowds. It has been revealed that this illegal market has been set up under the supervision of a political worker.
The law enforcement agencies are requested to take immediate and effective actions against these wrongdoers, so that residents may find peace once again.
