Rs5.137b allocated for NAB
ISLAMABAD: The PTI government has allocated Rs5.137 billion for National Accountability Bureau (NAB) with regard to ongoing accountability in the country. Last year the government has allocated Rs5 billion for the NAB and revised budget of the NAB for ongoing year is Rs5.51 billon that translate that Rs510 million were additional given to NAB and now for the upcoming financial year 2021-2022 an amounts of Rs5.17 billion allocated. The additional amount of Rs430.091 million was given to the NAB in the head of the supplementary grant for International Arbitration - Broadsheet LLC V/s Government of Pakistan (through NAB) payment of Part Final Award (Quantum) and Part of Final Award (Costs). According to budget document, a reduction of 380 million has been made in the new proposed budget for the financial year 2021-2022 comparing the revised budget estimates of ongoing financial year 2020-2021.
