Employees in Nowshera to get vaccinated against coronavirus
NOWSHERA: The Nowshera district administration on Friday decided to vaccinate all public, private sectors employees and industrial workers to save them from coronavirus.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the government officials presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mir Raza Ozgan. Among the participants were officials from the administration, Health Department, army, police, religious scholars and others.
The meeting was informed that the vaccination centres would be set up and mobile vans provided in specific areas so that the citizens were vaccinated easily against the coronavirus. Earlier, the deputy commissioner told the media many as 23 patients had recovered from coronavirus that put the number of such people at 4,992.
The official said five new cases of Covid-19 surfaced in Nowshera on Friday which took the tally of the people suffering from the virus at 5,274 in the district. He said a total of 104 people had died of coronavirus so far.
