Man found murdered in house
LAHORE:A 35-year-old man was found murdered in a house in Misri Shah here on Thursday. The man identified as Faizan was found dead in a garage of the house. He had a bullet injury in his head. Police removed the body to morgue. Initial investigations suggested that he was murdered over a property or a financial dispute.
BODIES BURIED: Edhi Foundation arranged burial of four unidentified bodies. These bodies were found from various parts of the city during the last few days. Two bodies were recovered from Tibbi City, one from Bhatti Gate and one from Batapur. Edhi Foundations arranged coffin, burial and funeral after completion of legal formalities by police in various police stations.
POS ARRESTED: Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate police arrested two suspected proclaimed offenders (POs). They had murdered a woman in 2018 using a hot iron rod. They have been identified as Ramza and Ayub. They started living in Karachi and changed their appearance. When they came Lahore after sometimes, police arrested them.
STORE LOOTED: In another incident of robbery in Sadr division, at least six robbers looted valuables worth six million rupees from a store in Sundar. They could be seen in a CCTV camera entering the shop carrying heavy firearms. They deprived the shopkeeper of valuables and escaped. It is worth noting that a constable was murdered two days ago by suspected robbers in Sundar police limits.
YOUTH SHOT DEAD: A youth was shot dead and another wounded in Qila Gujjar Singh police limits. The victim identified as Ashraf of Beadon Road purchased a new car. He took it to his family members. His neighbours were unhappy to see him standing outside their home. They exchanged harsh words which led accused Ali, Shahbaz and others to open fire. As a result, Ashraf received bullet injuries. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. The other youth Hamza received bullet injuries. He was admitted to hospital. A case has been registered against the suspects on the complaint of brother of the victim, Muhammad Asif.
3 drug pushers held: Batapur police arrested three drug pushers for displaying arms and seized drugs and weapons from their possession. The accused have been identified as Idrees, Fakhar and Jehangir.
