Wardens lauded for smooth traffic
LAHORE
Chief Traffic Officer Tayyab Cheema felicitated traffic wardens for maintaining flow of traffic on roads on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and Christmas.
The CTO said all possible resources were utilised to provide hassle-free travel to citizens. He said a special control room was set up under a comprehensive traffic plan to control and maintain flow of traffic. He further said special pickets were set up on the entry and exit points of the City to keep an eye on suspected persons. Meanwhile, Tayyab Cheema visited the Orange Line Train route including Baghbanpura, Engineering University and Laxhmi Chowk to review flow of traffic. He directed DSP Orange Line Train Babar Anwar and DSP Mughalpura that water should not accumulate on the service road to maintain flow of traffic. He also ordered wardens to take action against encroachments, wrong parking and one-way violation.
