LAHORE: An Accountability Court on Tuesday accepted an application seeking an inquiry report to be submitted in the court regarding assets beyond means against Punjab Minister Hashim Jawan Bakhat and others conducted by the NAB.
The court has issued notices to the NAB in this regard for June 12. The petitioner, Ahsan Abid, moved the Accountability Court through his counsel Aftab Bajwa. The petitioner contended that Multan NAB had conducted an inquiry against Hashim Jawan Bakht and others in 2018. He claimed that both Khusro brothers were found guilty of assets beyond means. However, he alleged that the inquiry was transferred to NAB Lahore due to influence of Hasham Jawan Bakht's brother, who is a federal minister.
