40 die from corona

LAHORE:Around 40 COVID-19 patients died and 424 new positive cases were confirmed in Punjab during the last 24 hours.

According to Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) report issued Tuesday, the death toll reached 10,039 in Punjab, while confirmed cases became 340,110 in the province.

1,418 recover: The Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SHC&MED), Punjab, has said that around 292,868 corona patients have recovered in the public sector hospitals, while 1,418 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, SHC&MED Secretary Barrister Nabeel Ahmed Awan said.

Meanwhile, Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed has said decrease in corona cases in Punjab is a good sign which all owes to cooperation of the masses and following the SOPs. He appealed to the public to keep following precautionary measures for eradication of coronavirus. He appealed to people to get vaccinated.
