14 injured as van overturns

OKARA: Fourteen people suffered injuries when a van overturned on Okara-Depalpur Road near 51/2L village on Wednesday night. The accident occurred when the driver lost his control over the steering of the vehicle. The injured, including two women, were shifted to DHQ hospital.
TWO SISTERS APPEAR IN MATRIC PAPER BEFORE NIKAH: Two sisters attempted their matriculation paper in wedding dresses before their Nikah on Wednesday in the Shafqat block locality.
Marriages of Asma Pervaiz and Iqra Pervaiz, daughters of Pervaiz Akhtar, were scheduled to be held on December 23 and coincidently on the same day according to the date sheet they were required to attempt their matriculate supplementary paper. Both the sisters insisted to attempt the paper and arrived in the examination hall and attempted the paper. All other candidates were surprised to see them in wedding dresses.
