Parachinar blast lamented
PESHAWAR: The Alamdar Students Federation (ASF) has denounced the terrorist attack in Parachinar and demanded the government and law-enforcement agencies to ensure security of people.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, ASF president Maheem Ali Turi said that the government and security institutions had failed to protect life and property of the masses. He condemned the attack at a market of second-hand clothes near Thall Adda in Parachinar the other day.
Turi said the local fought alongside security forces to eliminate terrorist groups in Parachinar.He said the local civil administration had completely failed to take appropriate measures for protection of lives and property of the masses.
Flanked by other members, Turi said the compensation announced by the government for heirs for the Parachinar blast was insufficient. He demanded increase of the compensation from Rs300,000 to Rs500,000 for family of the deceased, and from Rs100,000 to Rs300,000 for the injured people.
