We are facing a significant electricity challenge. One of the major problems is the lack of foreign investment in the energy sector. Provincial and federal agencies, the largest consumers of electricity, often do not pay their bills.
We should utilise our reservoirs of coal, gas and oil. The country should begin diversifying its energy production capacity by investing in wind and solar energy parks to help offset the energy shortage while pending projects such as the Kalabagh Dam and nuclear plants should be built.
