Funds okayed for salaries of FDE employees

Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar approved the CADD summary for the release of Rs140 million funds to pay the withheld salary to the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) daily wagers. The summary was sent by Minister of State for the CADD Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary lately. While approving the summary, the finance minister ordered the swift payment of salary to FDE employees. The daily-wage employees of the FDE took to the streets due to non-payment of salary for four months. The FDE has around 890 daily-wage employees mostly appointed to government schools and colleges in Islamabad. The CADD minister thanked the finance minister for approving the summary.
