Liberty under attack

The Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) has threatened the federal government to abandon any attempts to ‘liberalise’ the country. Shouldn’t Pakistan be taking care of its religious minorities and letting them practice their faith without any fear and intimidation? Shouldn’t Pakistan be clamping down on forced conversions and taking action on lawlessness in the name of blasphemy laws?
It seems that all religious parties in the country will repeat the same line about reviving the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam, but discard the Quaid’s speech of August 11, 1947 which set the goals for the newly-created state.
