The Millennium Global Entrepreneurship Week (MGEW 2015) -- an undertaking that commemorates startup innovators and job creators -- concluded with a Mega Fashion Show at The Millennium University College, H-11/4, on Saturday, says a press release.
The MGEW at TMUC was organised in collaboration with Global Entrepreneurship Week Pakistan, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE), Islamabad Chapter. This year, MGEW celebrated women and youth empowerment and entrepreneurship on the underlying theme ‘Innovate, Achieve, Inspire'.
Youth from various undergraduate programmes at The Millennium University College were engaged to organise the event with two panel discussions wherein founders of social NGOs, activists and young entrepreneurs shared their inspirational journey to success.
Both panels were followed by question-answer sessions where inquisitive students asked several questions from the panelists regarding their relevant field of expertise.
The MGEW 2015 ended with a mega fashion show showcasing budding entrepreneurs in the fashion industry and students belonging to various local institutions aspiring to launch their labels. The models walking the ramp were students of the international programmes being offered at The Millennium University College.
