ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s central leader and MNA Asad Umar on Thursday expressed concern over the government’s failure to announce a public holiday on account of the local bodies polls in Islamabad on November 30.In a statement here, he contended that it was beyond one’s comprehension as to why the government had opted for a partial holiday and asked the government to announce a public holiday to enable the maximum number of people to cast their votes on November 30.He emphasised that it was also the fundamental duty of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to facilitate the voters to use their right to vote.
