A tale of two countries

Pakistan and Bangladesh became independent countries in the years 1947 and 1971 respectively. Today, Bangladesh’s GDP is above $300 billion while Pakistan’s stands at close to $280 billion.
This is an example of civilian supremacy. Where do we stand?
