PESHAWAR: Chief Conservator Wildlife, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has notified that shooting of partridges is permissible in the province till February 7, 2016.
The hunting of partridges, including See-See partridge, Black partridge, Grey partridge and Chakur partridge will be allowed in game reserves, private game reserves and community game reserves.
Hunting shall be permissible only on Sundays and gazetted holidays, said an official communiqué.
Hunting shall not be allowed in protected areas of the province, including Bagh in Totalai in Buner district, Rakh Sardaran Haripur, Darmalak, Toi Banda, Choda and Chukhto in Kohat and Shnawari in Hangu.
The fee for licenses/special permits during 2015-16 shooting season are Rs 2000 per annum for small game shooting license, special permit for shooting in a game reserve Rs 2000 per day and possession license for dog Rs 250 per annum.
