It is surprising how the government fools people and gets away every time. For example there is no justification to increase POL prices when the price of oil per barrel has been hovering around $48 for the last four months in international markets. Can the government explain the increase?
The last time petroleum prices were reduced to about Rs70 per litre, the price of oil per barrel was over $60. Maybe this is the easiest way to make money for some other fancy project? The PTI has raised a voice against this unjustified increase. It is surprising that there is no reaction from the general public.
