PESHAWAR: Some 70 librarians serving in different colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been promoted to BPS-18. According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Department, 70 male and female librarians have been promoted to the next grade. The librarians include Zia Mohammad Irfan, Rukhsar Ali, Ahmad Ali, Iftikhar, Dr Saeedullah Jan, Amjad, Niaz Perwar and others. The promoted librarians have thanked the provincial government for accepting their longstanding demand. The librarians working in the schools had already been promoted to the next grade during the previous government.
