Punjab University Institute of Communication Studies is organising a three-day International Conference on ‘Freedom of Expression; Global Politics of Emotions’ on November 2 November 4. More than 50 delegates would participate and over 47 research papers will be presented at the conference at a local hotel.
According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the participants from nine countries are going to take part, which include US, UK, India, China, Norway, Algeria, Brazil and Nigeria. As many as 47 research papers will be presented by nine international researchers and 38 national researchers. Along with them five international and nine national keynote speakers are going to address. Among the international keynote speakers Dr MA Siddiqui from US, Prof Dr Christian Clifford from US, Dr Elizabeth Eidi from Norway, Dr Frenendo Resende from Brazil and Yuone Ridley from UK are going to be present. From the national keynote speakers Mujeebur Rehman Shami, Javed Jabbar, Hassan Murad, Dr Zahid Munir Amir, Dr M. Naseem, Dr Ayesha Laghari, Dr Sajjad Naseer, Dr Ahmed Bilal Sufi and Munawar A Anees will be present.
On the first day of the conference, after the inaugural session 22 research papers will be read while 14 research papers will be read on the 2nd day followed by 11 research papers on the 3rd and final day.
