LAHORE
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab organiser Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said those who committed irregularities in voter lists should not be pardoned.
Chaudhry Sarwar, also the former Governor of Punjab, stated this while addressing a ceremony held to announce joining of PTI by Jamil Ahmad Manj, PML-N coordinator Rana Nisar Ahmed Rath and other political workers on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarwar regretted that the incumbent rulers were now robbing people of their mandate without any regret. He said the PTI had collected thousands of irregularity evidences in voter lists and added that the PML-N’s electoral fraud politics would soon be exposed before the nation. He said the rulers were not improving the performance of national institutions and the welfare of the people. Reminding that the incumbent rulers were calling the PPP government “Ali Baba and Chalees Chor”, he said they themselves were looting national wealth as well as people of their hard earned income. PTI Punjab deputy organiser Umer Sarfraz Cheema, PTI Chairman’s political adviser Abdul Aleem Khan and others were present on the occasion. The PTI Punjab organiser said the rulers knew that people would not vote for their candidates, so they were looking for rigging options to win the forthcoming local government elections. He said the PTI would prove that the PML-N committed electoral fraud in the Lahore by-election by exposing irregularities in the voter lists in the by-election before the courts. He said the PTI was hopeful that the courts would decide in favour of the PTI after examining the irregularities’ evidences. He said that the rulers would soon be exposed before the nation and added that the PML-N’s politics had come down to the level of jugglery.
He said the incompetent rulers had failed to retire the circular debt despite paying Rs500 billion and how could they resolve energy crisis, he posed a question. He said that the PTI would first present all the voter lists’ irregularities evidences before the opposition’s All Parties Conference to get their support in its fight against the corrupt rulers.
