Lahore: Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of death of a 25-year-old youth under heavy machinery in Daroghawala, Lahore and sought a report. Ordering investigation into the tragic incident, the chief minister directed that foolproof protective measures should be made in order to avoid recurrence of such incidents. He directed that an effective campaign should be launched for the awareness of citizens about protective arrangements and warning boards should be installed at the sites of construction work. He said that departments and contractors concerned would be responsible for ensuring foolproof security arrangements. The chief minister expressed condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family.
