The rupee tracked some gains on low demand for the dollars in the forex market on Monday, traders said.In the interbank market, the rupee ended at 104.42, up four paisas from the previous closing of 104.46.
Traders said the trading activity in the forex market remained dull as New York exchange market was closed on account of the Columbus Day.
“The market is expected to face some pressure when payments will be settled on Tuesday,” a trader said.
