Roots Garden Schools (RGS), Roots School System DHA I Campus & Roots Ivy Schools Harley Region celebrated Teacher's Day with great enthusiasm. The day was dedicated to teachers, who play a prominent role in the life of their students.
Students gave fresh roses to their teachers and some students made paper flowers for their teachers as well. The day commended with the presentation on the "Role of a Teacher in child's life". Some of the students also did mimicry of their teachers which was appreciated by the all the teachers. Students were also prepared some skits for their teachers. Homemade gifts and cakes baked by mothers were sent to teachers at schools.
Beautiful poems, quotes and sayings were presented to teachers in the form of handmade cards made from chart papers of different colors. Students decorated these cards with glitter, glaze papers, ribbons, stickers and stars and smiley's. Founder and Chairperson Roots School System Mrs. Riffat Mushtaq also expressed gratitude to her teachers.
In the end the school choir sang a song on Teacher's Day. The theme of the song was “We love our teachers". Parents also encouraged the teachers by sending them "Thank you notes" and handmade cards.
