Islamabad: The Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS) School and College organised its 6th Inter-School Football Tournament on its main campus.
It was a mega event as 12 prominent schools from all over Islamabad, including GSIS, Beaconhouse, Froe-bel's, The City School, Roots, ICAS, Headstart, Elite School, OPF, American Grammar School, Lahore Grammar School, Khaldunia, Schola Nova participated in the tournament. The GSIS won the football tournament.
On the occasion, Faisal Salah Hayat, chairman of the Pakistan Football Federation, was the chief guest. While addressing the participants, he encouraged football teams and awarded trophies to the winner and the runner-up teams.
The event started with the speech of Principal Qurut-ul-Ain Ali. In her speech, she said the GSIS supports its students in every area whether it is sports or any other activity without compromising their studies.
Meanwhile, a fundraising 'Family Carnival’ was also organised. Students and representatives of different organisations displayed their stalls. Many other exciting activities were also held during the event.
