Kidnap victim’s body found

A burnt body of a torture victim was found stuffed in a suitcase from a garbage dump within the Surjani Town police limits on Thursday.
Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Mukhtair, son of Ahmed Ali Shaikh, and said his body had been shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where a MLO confirmed that the victim had been subjected to intense torture before being shot thrice at close range.
The police believed the body was burnt in a bid to hide the victim's identity and said that he had been kidnapped from the Liquatabad C-I Area.
