People face problems due to closure of Nadra, passport offices

RAHIMYAR KHAN: The Nadra and passport offices are closed for the last one month due to the lockdown. According to the Nadra sources, the Nadra and passport offices were closed for one month due to which about 25,859 people of Rahimyar Khan district could not get B-Form, FRC and CNICs. About 70,000 people of Rahimyar Khan could not renew their passports or got new ones. The families could not avail benefit from the Ehsaas Kifalat Programme and any other assistance. People whose biometric was not being verified also could not get the Ehsaas Programme money. The people have demanded the authorities to deliver their CNICs through courier. According to the Nadra officials, only government can formulate a policy.
