PML-Q leaders discuss prevailing situation
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi, Punjab General Secretary Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Senior Vice-President Chaudhry Salim Baryaar on Saturday held a meeting to discuss the prevailing national political situation and preventive measures for protection and safety from coronavirus.
Salim Baryaar, according to the direction of the party leaders, submitted a report on the distribution of ration, sanitizer and protective masks.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that assistance to the corona-hit families be continued. Presently the entire world is victim of this pandemic and the number of coronavirus patients in Pakistan is also increasing. Taking preventive measures are very essential, he said.
The PML-Q president said this was no time for politics rather the opposition and the government will have to move together. He said that the overseas Pakistanis should also participate in this noble work and help their Pakistani brethren wholeheartedly.
