Covid-19 suspect dies
TAKHTBHAI: A suspected patient of coronavirus belonging to Takhtbhai tehsil died at the Mardan Medical Complex on Saturday.
Inayatullah, 43, a resident of Dako Baba in Takhtbhai tehsil, was brought to the Takhtbhai hospital from where he was referred to the Mardan Medical Complex because of his precarious condition.
The doctors at the MMC put the patient on ventilator as he was not able to breathe due to severe problem in breathing and chest pain for the last several days.
However, the patient expired late Friday night. Takhtbhai hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Kachkol Khan said that the deceased was a chronic patient of chest, tuberculosis and pneumonia but the doctors at the Takhtbhai hospital had taken his swabs for coronavirus test and the result was still awaited.
