5 coronavirus victims buried
LAHORE : The dead bodies of five coronavirus victims were shifted to their local graveyards for burial from Mayo Hospital on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Farrukh Sultana, 63, a resident of Pattoki, Muhammad Khan, 65, a resident of Morr Khanda, Abdul Ghaffar, 62, a resident of Girjakh, Gujranwala, Gulbahar Jan Khan, 65, a resident of GT Road Co-op Store and Nazir Ahmad, 65, a resident of Qila Muhammadi, Ravi Road. Edhi Foundation arranged coffins and burial for the victims.
fireworks seizeD: Data Darbar police arrested three accused of possessing fireworks and recovered 2.21 million match bombs packed in 41 bags on Saturday. A case has been registered against the accused persons identified as Liaqat, Nazir and Maqbool.
Meanwhile, Shafiqabad police claimed to have arrested seven gamblers and recovered stake money from their custody.
