PIC cook, three nurses test corona positive

LAHORE: A cook at the hostel of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and three nurses were reported positive for coronavirus Wednesday.
The coronavirus was confirmed among three more nurses performing duties at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, which raised the total number of affected medics at the hospital to 26. So far, as many as six doctors, 14 nurses and six paramedics at Punjab’s biggest cardiac centre have been tested positive for the virus. A cook at the PIC hostel was also tested positive for the coronavirus. Presently, three doctors and 11 nurses of Punjab Institute of Cardiology have been admitted at isolation ward of the Services Hospital in Lahore.
