Four outlaws arrested

Islamabad : The Islamabad police have arrested four outlaws arrested including three bike lifters and recovered two stolen bikes and heroin from them, the police spokesman said.

DIG (Operations) Waqar-Ud-Din Syed directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.

SP (investigation) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including Sub-Inspector Tariq Rauf, ASIs Zulfqar Ali, Fawad Khalid, Sargul Khan along with other officials which successfully nabbed two accused involved in the bike lifting and drug pushing.

The accused have been identified as Sher Mohammad, resident of Dhoke Kokarain, Islamabad and Faizan resident of Dhoke Chaudhrain, Rawalpindi.

The police team also recovered stolen bike and 1250 gram heroin from their possession. During the preliminary investigation, they confessed their involvement in incidents of bike lifting and drug pushing in areas of Golra and Kohsar police stations areas.

Furthermore, SP (Saddar) Muhammad Omer Khan constituted special teams under the supervision of SDPO Khalid Mehmood Awan including SHO Tarnol Police Station Inspector Arshad Ali, ASI Muhammad Ishaq along with other officials. Police team nabbed two accused Hamza and Haider residents of Losar Sherfoo Wah Cantonment, Rawalpindi. The police team also recovered a bike (Honda 125) from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and further, the investigation is underway.
