LAHORE: The Pakistan Body Building Federation (PBBF) has appealed the government, Chief Patron PBBF Naveed Akram Cheema and Dr Fahmida Mirza, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) for a relief package for the bodybuilding family which is facing crunch situation in several ways due to lockdown.
In an appeal, PBBF President Sheikh Farooq Iqbal said that his federation is fully aware of the current situation due to Corona Virus and it stands with the government policy. But the PBBF is facing immense pressure from the fitness centers, gym owners and athletes (trainers). “They are suffering with the financial crisis lie rent issue, salary & daily wages issue and utility bill issues) following the 28 days lockdown, which is still continuing.
“The PBBF requested the IPC minister and the Government to give a relief package for the distressed PBBF family and prepare some SOP in consultation with the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation,” he said and also sought time for a meeting to address some serious issues.
