KARACHI: Jamshoro police have booked famous Sindhi singer Zamin Ali in a case of blasphemy.
The case against the signer was registered by the Kotri Police Station on the complaint of a local shopkeeper Muhammad Ibrahim Mashwani.
Mashwani said he ran a shop at Bihar Colony, Kotri and was watching social media sites along with his friends. He said when they visited the page of Singer Zamin Ali on the facebook and listened to his song, they found it full of blasphemous material against the Prophet (PBUH) hurting their religious sentiments.
A senior police official told The News that though the FIR had been registered, no arrest had been made.
