Haseeb Waqas Group clarifies

LAHORE: Haseeb Waqas Group has refuted the news reports related to tax fraud and has clarified that their Group can never think of any fraudulent activities.
In a statement the group said: “We have already paid Rs 136.00 million from the tax liability worked out by FBR and for remaining liability, we have since written to FBR Administration in March 2015 to allow making remaining payment by facilitating us through instalments, as FBR has already extended such facilities to different industries in the past.
However, instead of facilitating us, FBR has started legal proceedings against our Group for which we have already filed a writ petition/appeal in the Lahore High Court and matter is sub judice.”
