‘Punjab package inadequate’
LAHORE :Barabri Party Pakistan Chairman Jawad Ahmad has alleged it is an old policy of PTI to use Zakat and charity for personal purposes. The Punjab government's Rs10 billion package for 11 crore poor population of the province is inadequate and the workers are looking towards the government with disappointment, he said in a video link conversation with his party workers and leaders.
He said had local governments been restored instead of forming Tiger Force, there would have been a representatives from every street of the country who knew the people well in their areas. He said if the subsidies given to the sugar producers were spent on public welfare, today the poor and middle classes would have not been desperate for basic necessities, said Jawad Ahmad.
