Walkthrough gate installed at Wasa head office
LAHORE: To ensure the safety of its employees and the general public, Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has installed a disinfection walk-through gate at its head office. The walk-through gate was installed on the directions of Wasa Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz who said that safety and health of the Wasa employees was his top priority. He revealed that Wasa with the help of a private industry was also preparing a special chemical to be used for disinfecting the city from Coronavirus. He said that the chemical would also be used to spray on the people walking through the gate. He said it would first be tested to check any negative effects on human body. He said the agency was already placed 20 hand washing containers at various city points and so far thousands of citizens had washed their hands with chlorinated water being provided at these washing points.
