Police crackdown on fireworks, kite sellers

Rawalpindi: In a crackdown on kite and fireworks sellers in different areas of Rawalpindi, six people were arrested and police recovered thousands of kites, kite strings and fireworks tools.
In the limits of Sadar-Wah police station, Police arrested Asif and recovered 1,500 kites and chemical string.
While Chontra police arrested Sohail Iqbal and recovered 150 kites, Waris Khan Police arrested Muhammad Atif and recovered 55 kites. In Rataamral, police held many kite sellers and also recovered hundreds of kites and chemical string from them.
Meanwhile, Gujjar Khan Police in a crackdown on fireworks sellers held Kamran aka kaami and recovered hundreds of fireworks tools including match-crackers, ‘Shhai Pataakha’, Sharnai’ and cotton bombs.
