248 more lockdown violators arrested

As the lockdown in the city entered its 16th day on Tuesday, the law enforcement agencies continued their crackdown against lockdown violators and arrested 248 more citizens.
According to the Karachi police spokesperson, since the lockdown started on March 23 across the province, the Karachi police had so far registered 604 cases and arrested 1,712 citizens for violating Section 144.
Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon visited different security units of the Karachi police and inquired about the facilities being provided to personnel performing security duties. He visited Security II, Muhafiz Force, Special Security Unit (SSU), Foregin Security Cell and the court police. The chiefs of the security units welcomed the Karachi police chief.
