LAHORE :Partly cloudy weather was reported in the City here Monday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A westerly wave is likely to affect upper and central parts of the country until Tuesday (today). They predicted that rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad and Kashmir. Hailstorm is also expected at few places during the period. Dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
Rain was recorded in several cities, including Sialkot (City 25, AP 04), Gujranwala 10, Narowal 09, Murree 05, Gujrat 02, Attock 01, Dir (Lower 08, Upper 01), Parachinar 07, Saidu Sharif 03 and Balakot 01. Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at Mithi where mercury reached 43°C while in Lahore, minimum temperature was 14.8°C and maximum was 30.4°C.
