Quality utility
April 06, 2020
The government has allocated ten billion rupees to the Utility Stores Corporation so that the people can buy essential commodities at affordable prices. However, in Islamabad, most of these stores were seldom found open for the public, and the prices of commodities were nominally lower than the market despite the low-quality of store items as reported by the customers.
A good initiative by the government has not resulted in relief to a common person. The concerned ministry is requested to look into the matter so that the huge amount set aside for citizens is not frittered away due to negligence.
