NAWABSHAH: Test samples from two foreign members of Tableeghi Jamaat, were resent to Karachi for confirmation following suspicion over their previous coronavirus lab reports.
According to Deputy Commissioner Abrar Ahmed Jaffar said COVID-19 tests of four out of six foreign visiting members of the Tableeghi Jamaat turned out to be positive, while reports of the other two were found to be negative. He said this raised a suspicion and we have sent the samples for verification of results to Karachi once again.
They are being kept in the Isolation Ward of Peoples Medical Hospital, he said. They belong to Indonesia, Sudan and some other African countries. He said 44 other members of the Tableeghi Jamaat were quarantined at the Labour Colony Nawabshah where they are being provided with all medical facilities.
Jaffar said that a 50-bed hospital is also established at quarantine centre for medical assistance to the Coronavirus suspects. The food has been arranged by the Jamaat itself.
