World Junior Squash cancelled

ISLAMABAD: The WSF Junior World Championships 2020, which should have taken place on the Australian Gold Coast from July 19-24 (individual) and from July 25-30 (teams), have been cancelled — not by the World Squash Federation, but by hosts Squash Australia.

It was only a matter of time before it happened after Australian authorities imposed a shutdown on sports facilities that stretched beyond the event’s dates, and countries such as Malaysia started pulling out.
