Two brothers test negative for corona
TOBA TEK SINGH: The test reports of two brothers, who were suspected of contracting coronavirus, were received negative here on Tuesday.
Muhammad Faisal Arshad and Muhammad Ibrahim Arshad, were residents of Pirmahal’s village 320/GB and were employees in a shoe factory in Lahore. Both had fever and flu history and both were referred by THQ Hospital Pirmahal doctors to the DHQ Hospital on March 28. Both brothers test reports were send to the Islamabad National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS). Now the reports confirmed that they were not coronavirus patients. Meanwhile, the Health Department officials told that two more corona suspects, Najmullah of Pirmahal and Abdul Rauf of Gojra, who had returned from Iran and Italy and were admitted to a hospital on March 16, had already been discharged as their reports were also negative. The officials said that the lab report of a corona suspect Asif Raza, who had returned to his home Chuttiana’s Chak 310/GB from Dubai, and was admitted to the DHQ Hospital on March 19, was still awaited. He was an employee in a company at Dubai where Chinese were his colleagues, the official told. Asif was now kept in isolation ward of the DHQ Hospital, the officials said. They informed that another suspected patient Muhammad Hussain of Chak 151/GB was also admitted to the DHQ Hospital on March 26 and the result of his report is awaited.
