Three die in Landikotal roof collapse

LANDIKOTAL: Three persons, including two children, were killed in a roof collapse incident in Charbagh village in Pasedkhel area in Landikotal, an official said on Tuesday.
Amjad Shalmani, Station House Officer of Landikotal Police Station, said that the roof collapsed due to heavy rain. He said Saleem Khan, his grandsons Fawad, 2, and Hiwad, 3, were buried alive under the rubble when the roof caved in. Soon after the incident, the residents and Frontier Corps personnel rushed to the site and started rescue work. They retrieved the bodies from the debris.
