PCB clears contracted players’ dues
LAHORE: After the suspension of all cricket activities due to coronavirus outbreak, the Pakistan Cricket Board has paid the two months stipends to all the contracted cricketers. It has been learnt that the PCB has cleared the provincial team players dues until February and now the domestic cricketers' daily allowances and match fees have also been paid. Whereas the dues of March and April will be cleared in time. An official of the PCB revealed that the payments of all the players other than the contracted cricketers have also been paid. However, the cricketers who did not sign their contracts yet have not been paid their salaries. The PCB has strictly asked the players to continue their training at home and their fitness tests will be taken after the situation eases. The fitness tests of the players which were to be held in the first week of April were also postponed.
