Seven people were wounded during a clash between two groups over a land dispute in Shah Latif police remits on Monday.
The police reached the scene and controled the situation. Rescuers transported the injured men to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medical attention. They were identified as 30-year-old Inamullah, Qadir, 27, Mukhtar, 24, Pervez, 23, Dilbar, 26, Ghulam Qadir, 22, and Hameedullah, 25.
The Police said the incident took place when the two groups – one led by Rahim Mastoi and another by Faisal Abro, confronted each other over a land dispute, adding the members of both the groups attacked each other with sticks and batons. One month ago, the same groups had a clash over the same dispute. A case has been registered while an investigation is under way.
