67 more pilgrims from Iran reach Faisalabad quarantine centre
FAISALABAD: As many as 67 more pilgrims from Taftan, Iran, have reached the PARS campus quarantine centre on Jhang Road.
All pilgrims have been safely shifted to their rooms. The coronavirus report of 140 pilgrims had been received out of 158 who had come earlier. Out of them, four reports were positive and they had been shifted to the new building for further quarantine and treatment. The remaining 136 pilgrims report was negative, however, they would complete their 14 days at the quarantine centre. The reports of the remaining 18 pilgrims would be received soon. Now, the total number of visitors came from Taftan in Faisalabad were 225.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali informed during his visit at the quarantine centre that food, water, fruit, tea and other essential items were being provided to the visitors at the quarantine centre of the PARS Campus. He said that the district administration officers, Pak Army, Rangers personnel, district police and civil defence volunteer were performing duty at the quarantine campus. He made it clear that the employees of the Faisalabad Waste Management Company were tasked with providing food to the visitors inside the building.
